Trading risk

Trading financial instruments — including but not limited to forex, CFDs, metals, indices and cryptocurrencies — involves substantial risk of loss. You can lose more than the amount you initially deposited. Leverage amplifies both gains and losses.

Expert Advisors and automation

AlphaLab-AI Expert Advisors are software programmes that execute trades according to the rules and parameters configured by the user. They are subject to:

  • Slippage, requotes and execution delays at your broker.
  • Spread widening, especially during news and low-liquidity periods.
  • Connection loss between your platform, broker server and VPS.
  • Broker-side limitations on order types, lot sizes, or instruments.
  • Market regime changes that can invalidate prior assumptions.
  • Bugs, edge cases and limitations in any software product.

Backtests and forward tests

Backtests and forward tests illustrate how a strategy behaved on historical or recent data under specific assumptions (spread, slippage, sample period). They are not a guarantee, prediction or projection of future performance. Live results will differ.

Suitability

Prop firms

AlphaLab-AI does not guarantee that any product will pass a prop-firm challenge, preserve a funded account, or comply with every prop firm's rules. Rule sets vary between firms and change over time. You are responsible for understanding your specific firm's rules.
